Topic:  In a world of distractions, it has not gone unnoticed that many of us are not getting enough sleep. Sleep helps repair and rejuvenate our bodies in order to keep ourselves healthy and focused. Without a sufficient amount of sleep, young people are at risk of lack of focus in education, poor diet, mood swings. In more severe cases, lack of sleep can lead to sleep deprivation, which can contribute to diabetes and heart problems.

This lesson informs learners about the benefits of good sleep and provides them with an awareness of sleep deprivation and its effects on health and performance.
